Bob Yinzer: What are the Boulder officers‘ names?

Yet again, I am troubled to see for questionable conduct.

Who specifically are these officers who had a man at gunpoint for picking up trash at a home in which he lived?

In the last few years I have read similar instances (non-threatening woman with knife) being held at police gunpoint. The police actions of quick-to-draw weapons feels excessive. Is this the type of police culture that we as a community support? The Daily Camera should help the public by always identifying the officers involved in this type of policing. Knowing the officers‘ names would allow us to see if certain officers seem to be more frequently involved in these kind of events. We the public can then be involved as active citizens of our community to demand change and accountability through our elected representatives.

I often wonder how many of these types of negative police interactions (gunpoint) happen without ever appearing in the Daily Camera? We need more accountability by shedding light via Daily Camera into these dark places
