Man rescued after fall in Gregory Canyon

A man sustained non-life-threatening injuries Wednesday afternoon after a fall in Gregory Canyon west of Boulder.

The man, who is in his early 20s, fell between 20 and 30 feet while bouldering in the Amphitheater Trail area, according to a news release from the Boulder County Sheriff‘s Office. He was taken to a local hospital.

Members of Rocky Mountain Rescue Group, Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks and Boulder Fire Rescue responded to the call. The man, who sustained a back injury, was carried from the area.

The incident was reported at 1:48 p.m.
